Let go and enjoy: If you want to unwind and not have to worry about a thing, this snowshoe hike is ideal for you. From the equipment to a delicious lunch or dinner – we’ll organise everything. So you can devote yourself entirely to the snow-covered mountain landscape.
With this snowshoe hike, the name says it all: spend a relaxing day on snowshoes, where you don’t have to worry about a thing. The signposted route is on the Flumser Kleinberg – tucked away, far from the winter sports hustle and bustle, a real hidden gem amongst snow enthusiasts. Everything you’ll need for the day is included in the all-inclusive package: a cable car ticket, snowshoe hire and a heavenly, homemade fondue at the Berghotel Schönhalden with a phenomenal view of the snow-covered Churfirsten and Lake Walen. There are two signposted routes to choose from, both of which offer a spectacular experience of nature for beginners as well as experienced snowshoers.

Schönhalden cable car valley station (free car park at the Schönhalden cable car valley station)
NOTES
- Bookable for young people aged 15 and over (no children)
- First ascent at 08.00 / last descent between 21.00 and 22.00
- The fondue can be enjoyed between 11.30 am and 8.00 pm. Please book a table in the restaurant in advance; otherwise, a seat cannot be guaranteed
- On Sundays, the restaurant closes at 6.00 pm
- In the event of a storm, the cable car will not be running; please check in advance directly with the Berghotel Schönhalden
- Equipment: Winter-suitable clothing and good, high-top footwear, as well as a head torch (if available)
- Bookable from 12 December 2026 to 20 December 2026, Wednesday to Sunday. Closed from 21 December 2026 to 24 December 2026. Bookable daily from 25 December 2026 to 3 January 2027. From 4 January 2027 to 4 April 2027, from Wednesday to Sunday.
